Onionizing about the self
What I’m about to write here, is a bit complex, I hope to be able to make it understandable. There are some important aspects of the self we shall gain awareness of. In my introduction about images I talked about our ways to model things in life by making images of them in our mind. The self image though is a little bit more complex issue. To answer that question I need a clear separation between you and me, moreover a separation between myself and the rest of the world, so I will look to find a definition of myself. Am I my Ego? Ego defines itself like this: “I am what i have. I am what I own. ” I can gather things from the outside and make it mine, part of me. That way i can convert external things into the extension of myself.
