We make small decisions every day.

Which sock do I put on today? What would I like to drink? Which milk do I buy in the supermarket? Do I cut my hair?
These are smaller decisions with seemingly smaller impact on our lives.
It is not like we normally fear to fail in life just because we decide to wear green socks on Monday. Why not? Well, we may think it doesn’t really matter. That it doesn´t really mean anything, and also, that we can choose the green socks today, because it doesn’t mean we have to keep to it for the next twenty years and wear exclusively green socks. Tomorrow we can put on the red ones. And after tomorrow we can even go out without wearing any at all. Knowing that, gives us a very fresh sense of flexibility. We don’t feel obliged to follow small decisions as we feel the obligation to follow and eventually suffer the big ones. But truly all that is quite a bit of bullshit. In terms of changes or events we can’t really know what matters in life and what doesn’t.
